Delicious Homemade Pizza Recipe
Margherita Pizza - Family Favorite
Dough Ingredients:
- 500g high protein flour
- 7g instant yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 300ml warm water
Topping Ingredients:
- 200ml tomato sauce
- 250g mozzarella, grated
- 100g parmesan cheese, grated
- Fresh basil leaves to taste
- Olive oil to taste
How to Make Dough:
- Mix flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt in a large bowl
- Add warm water gradually while kneading
- Add olive oil, knead until dough is smooth and elastic
- Shape dough into a ball, cover with clean cloth
- Let rest for 1-2 hours until dough doubles in size
How to Make Pizza:
- Preheat oven to 220°C
- Roll out dough on floured surface
- Shape dough into a circle with even thickness
- Spread tomato sauce over dough surface
- Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan evenly
- Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes until cheese melts and edges are golden brown
- Remove from oven, add fresh basil leaves
- Drizzle with a little olive oil
- Cut into slices and serve warm
Tips:
- Use high protein flour for more elastic dough
- Make sure oven is fully hot before putting pizza in
- Don't overload toppings for perfect cooking
- Serve pizza immediately after removing from oven for best results
